Jaeden Wolff of Billings West ran some of the fastest sprint times in Montana history this spring and broke three Montana state meet records over the weekend in Butte.

Wolff won the Class AA girls 100 in 12.08, the 200 in a personal best time of 24.75 and was the anchor of the winning 4x100 relay in 47.55. That time matched the 2016 Billings West squad for the all-time state best. Sophomore teammate Taylee Chirrick won the 300 hurdles in 43.80 and anchored the winning 4x400 to 3:56.59.

However, Odessa Zentz ran to dominant victories in the 400 (56.02) and 800 (2:13.20) on the way to pushing Helena over the finish line for the girls team championship. The Northern Arizona recruit placed second in the 200 meters, anchored the third-place 4x400 relay team and second-place 4x100 relay. Sophomore Logan Todorovich won the 100-meter hurdles in 14.47 and the long jump with 18-6.25.

Kensey May of Missoula Hellgate, running at Butte's 5,538-foot elevation, won the AA girls 1,600 in 4:56.04 and the 3,200 in 10:41.60.

Junior Keagan Crosby played a big role in Sentinel's retention of the AA boys team title. The junior won the 800 meters in 1:53.82, placed second in the 1,600 with 4:18.95 and was fourth in the 400 at 50.80.

Treyton Anderson competed in seven events for Beaverhead County, which won the Class A boys title. Anderson won the 400 (50.03), the 110 hurdles (14.41), the 300 hurdles (39.49), was second in the 200 (22.04) and third in the 100 (11.16). He was also on two scoring relays. The state's top hurdler, Ainsley Shipman of Beaverhead County, won the Class A 100 hurdles (15.14) and 300 hurdles (44.67).
