Nashoba runners in national tournament this weekend - Wicked Local LancasterPublished by
By Jake Abraham/Student ContributorBoston - Indoor track Nashoba’s indoor track team cut through the year-end tournaments with record-setting performances and a first-place trophy from the District 3 meet, and will send four representatives to the national championships this weekend. Last Friday, Nashoba runners Joe Doyle and Conor Megee competed against the finest runners and sprinters in all of New England at the New England High School Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston. Doyle set a personal record of 2:28.93 (1.3 seconds better than his time last year), and finished first. Megee finished 10th. The two runners, along with Nashoba’s Coby Horowitz and Brendan Aylaian, will compete in the Nike Indoor Nationals this weekend, March 13-15. The four locals will enter an event, the Distance Medley Relay, which consists of a 1200 meter, 400 meter, 800 meter, and 1600 meter leg. Read the full article at: www.wickedlocal.com
